My training is in Psychosynthesis Counselling which looks at the whole person, including body, mind and spirit. Psychosynthesis believes you already have all the knowledge inside you to help yourself - I am just there to help you find and use it.
I use a variety of techniques to do this including discussion, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), creative visualisation, guided imagery, drawing and gestalt techniques. I never impose any of these tools on clients but explore your openness to trying these where appropriate and we work together to consider what we learn from each and how to apply these in daily life.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapists (Reg MBACP) and abide by their Code of Ethics. You can find out more about counselling and the BACP by clicking here.
I offer both short and long term counselling as well as counselling over the phone and online. I work across West Essex and North London (I am based in Loughton, IG9) and also London Bridge.
